Monthly, for the past 16 years, The Windy City Connection Mentoring Group has been exchanging ideas, thoughts and has been sharing our business strategies in the market. This exchange of ideas started out in keeping each individual on track with their goals, and as a group we tried to help each other in our separate businesses. The value of this group is immense! The growth we have all had through the years in our business, and personalities has enriched our business as well as our lives. We've been thinking about a blog, first as a private forum for the Windy City Connection Mentoring Group to exchange ideas virtually then we decided to make this forum public. The benefit for our posting public is really twofold:
We will learn how to serve you better by reading your comments and questions in your posts and you have the advantage of getting our various answers to your questions by truly educated, thoughtful Realtors, that I am proud to call my friends.

How right you are, Jan!!!! Since joining Windy City, I've learned so much thanks to the wonderful sharing of everyone in the group. Amongst us I think we have something like 150 combined years of experience...and, as you pointed out, we come from different market areas, have different experiences to share, different specialties, etc. And that has been an enormous help! I always know that when I get stumped by something, I can send out an email to the group and it never fails that SOMEONE has a solution for me.
Now, with the blog, we can do the same thing online, only now it won't be just our group that can benefit from those exchanges...it's everyone who participates! I've always believed that informed is empowered, though I must admit with so much MISinformation on the web, we all need to be so careful about what we believe. Being able to dialogue with professionals who are "trusted advisors" to so many over the years should be a great advantage to all!!!!
